Well, there aren't that many users yet, but Skype Journal says
that at the current daily rate of downloads, there could be a billion
Skypers by 2009. Consider the significance of that number: it's about
the number of current Internet users.
Linux Phones Aren't Exactly Cheap Either
A Linux-powered keyless phone, dubbed the Neo 1973 and called an Apple iPhone killer, will be available online early next month. The phone, from a company called FIC, will cost about US$350.
